It’s that time again – where we take a little look into a day in the life of a Wirral Mortgage broker! This time we are taking a look into our Prenton Mortgage Broker, David Williams who joined the  Right Click Finance team in July and we can’t wait to introduce him…let’s meet David!

Hi David, tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi everyone I’m David, I’m new to Right Click Finance but I have been a mortgage broker for over 8 years. I have gained experience in major banks and then later working within Wirral area for the last 4+ years! I am from the Wirral therefore I am best placed to help on the mortgage front and knowledge of the areas too.  However, when I’m not hard at work, I am either spending my weekends with my daughter playing sports or you’ll find me watching the football or managing a men’s West Cheshire team!

What advice would you give to First Time Buyers looking for a mortgage?

My Advice would be, always check what a broker has to offer… as you probably know you can find a lot out online nowadays BUT it’s often not taking your individual situation into account! Therefore, when getting your first home it is important to get some advice from a broker to ensure you have the best options available for you.

Why is it important to get an insurance when purchasing your home?

I am a big believer in explaining the different options available from an insurance perspective to each individual. After that, it is then up to them to decide which is their priority. I believe this gives buyer’s the peace of mind that they have done all they can to protect their new property.
